On June 24, Gregg Allman Band guitarist and musical director Scott Sharrard will lead a tribute to the late rock legend, featuring a number of original members of the Gregg Allman Band.

The performance will be held at City Winery in New York City, and it will be a part of the venue’s 10-year anniversary programming “honoring the music of artists that are no longer with us who have helped create the unique experience City Winery is most famous for.” Other performances will pay homage to the likes of Richie Havens, Pete Seeger, Leon Russell, Prince, Lou Reed and more.

May 27, 2019 will mark the two-year anniversary of Allman’s passing, and the June 24 event has already teased a few unnamed “special guests.” The full announced lineup includes Sharrard, bassist Brett Bass, keyboardist Peter Levin, percussionists Steve Potts and Bobby Allende as well as the horn section of Jay Collins, Art Edmaiston and Marc Franklin.

According to the venue, a percentage of the profits from the tribute show will also be donated The Allman Lehman Scholarship at Syracuse University.
