Americana-folk trio Mountain Man recently played a set at NPR’s Tiny Desk, offering three cuts off their 2018 LP Magic Ship.
The band released their first album – Made The Harbor – in 2010, and found themselves re-inspired after a set at the 2017 Eaux Claires Music Festival in Wisconsin.
“[That performance] was the testing of the waters,” vocalist-guitarist Sauser-Monnig recently told Relix. “The waters felt magical and positive. And, at that point, we began talking about making another record, collecting songs, putting dates on the calendar for recording to happen.”
