Street Plant Skateboards has revealed their third Jerry-Garcia inspired skateboard deck, modeled after the Grateful Dead icon’s Rosebud guitar, which he played through the late ’80s and early ’90s.
As part of an ongoing partnership with the Garcia Family, Street Plant – which is run by Black Flag frontman and pro-skateboarder Mike Vallely – previously released Tiger and Wolf boards, which similarly channel Garcia’s famed guitars.
In the past, Vallely described his personal connection to this Garcia-themed project, writing, “where Music and Skateboarding intersect, there is my Heart, and Jerry’s Music in Playing.”
Street Plant’s Rosebud boards are available in two colors, and they are currently up for preorder.
