The Felice Brothers have announced they will release their first album in three years, Undress, on May 3 via Yep Roc, along with sharing the lead single and title track.

Brothers Ian and James Felice recorded the album in Upstate New York with bandmates Will Lawrence (drums) and Jesske Hume (bass), plus producer Jeremy Backofen. Undress follows up the group’s 2016 effort, Life in the Dark.

“Many of the songs on the new album are motivated by a shift from private to public concerns,” says Ian. “It isn’t hard to find worthwhile things to write about these days, there are a lot of storms blooming on the horizon and a lot of chaos that permeates our lives. The hard part is finding simple and direct ways to address them.”

The Felice Brothers will head on on tour in support of Undress starting April 27 in Albany, NY. Tickets go on sale Feb. 12 at the band’s website. See the full tour schedule below and listen to new single “Undress.”
