Guster are playing a no-frills pop-up set at a Wyoming dumpster today – Feb. 5 – at 2:15 p.m. MT/4:15 p.m. ET.
According to an Instagram post, the quartet will meet their fans in a “giant empty parking lot by War Memorial Stadium” in Laramie, Wy. Since it’s a public space the show will presumably be free of charge.
This will mark the band’s first Wyoming gig, and certainly fit within Guster’s ongoing goal to play quirky, unexpected shows.
The band also recently celebrated the release of their eighth studio album Look Alive.

February 6, 2019 at 10:55 amMuch better than that ‘Real Estate’ same-sex-assaulter, with the JAGG-OFF argyle sweater ‘popping-up’ at a suburban strip mall next to an abandoned SPORTS AUTHORITY, only to find…… ZERO ‘fans’ with him. Guster’s all right, I like the idea.
