This weekend, Chris Thile hosted his weekly Live From Here performance and broadcast at The Wiltern in Los Angeles, welcoming singer-songwriters Jenny Lewis and Andrew Bird for the occasion.

Both musicians led Thile and his band in singles from their respective upcoming albums, as Lewis offered “Red Bull & Hennessy” from On the Line and Bird played “Sisyphus” from My Finest Work Yet (both out March 22). Thile was also joined by his group Nickel Creek for the Live From Here taping, and the trio (featuring Sean and Sara Watkins) ran through their songs “21st of May,” “Scotch and Chocolate” and “When In Rome.”

In other Live From Here news, the program has confirmed the lineup for its upcoming show at New York’s famed Carnegie Hall on March 9. Thile will be welcoming banjo virtuoso Béla Fleck, bassist Edgar Meyer (also a collaborator of Thile and Fleck’s), and singers Julie Fowlis and Aoife O’Donovan.
