As a polar vortex continues to cause frigid temperatures across the U.S., jam quartet Spafford have rescheduled the two opening dates of their winter tour due to extreme weather.

According to the band, sub-zero temperatures in the Midwest have caused problems with their touring vehicles, freezing essential engine components and forcing them off the road. The band’s Jan. 30 show in Minneapolis, Minn. has been moved to May 22, and their Jan. 31 gig in Milwaukee, Wisc. has been rescheduled to May 25. Both shows will be played at the originally intended venues.

“This one’s beyond our control. Wish we could play,” the band wrote on their Instagram page.
