Les Claypool is getting in on the late-night fun at this year’s Jazz Fest, with a special “Bastard Jazz” show featuring percussionist Mike Dillon, saxophonist Skerik and Galactic drummer Stanton Moore.
The sure-to-be-experimental outing is scheduled for the evening of May 3, 2019 at NOLA’s Joy Theater, with music starting at the ripe hour of 2 a.m.
Earlier this month, Jazz Fest revealed its full lineup, featuring headliners like The Rolling Stones, Dave Matthews Band, Jimmy Buffett, Chris Stapleton and more.
Tickets for Les Claypool’s Bastard Jazz are on sale now. Prices range from $30-$50.
