This past fall, New Orleans-based guitarist and singer-songwriter Spencer Bohren revealed his cancer diagnosis, and NOLA institution Tipitina’s will host a special benefit concert later this month to help raise money for Bohren’s expenses surrounding the ensuing treatment.

Set to play “Singing for Spencer” are Meters bassist George Porter Jr., Anders Osborne, The Radiators’ Dave Malone, Camile Baudoin and Reggie Scanlan, Malone’s brother Tommy and daughter Darcy, drummer Johnny Vidacovich, Johnny Sketch & the Dirty Notes, and Rory Danger & the Danger Dangers.

Tickets and more information on the show can be found here. Donations to Bohren’s fund can be made here.
