There are few acts that have the longevity, the style or the kung-fu skills of the Wu-Tang Clan.
In addition to announcing two U.S. shows in 2019 (Jan. 25 in Philadelphia and Jan. 26 in New York, respectively), the famed rap collective recently stopped by NPR to play a 20-minute tiny desk set.
RZA, Raekwon, Inspectah Deck, Cappadonna, Masta Killa, U-God and Young Dirty Bastard (the son of the late Old Dirty Bastard) run through “Wu Classics,” as they each take their turn centerstage.
As RZA proclaims to the cramped office, and echos OBD’s famous Grammy’s exclamation, “Wu-Tang is for the kids!”
