Neil Young has announced another small batch of shows, this time in America’s Midwest.

The musician-activist will play a one-off show at Milwaukee, Wisc.’s Riverside Theater on Jan. 23, followed by another stand alone gig in Madison, Wisc on Jan. 24.

Young will then play three shows spread throughout Minneapolis, Minn.: at the Pantages Theatre on Jan. 26, the Orpheum Theatre on Jan. 28 and the State Theatre on Jan. 29.

This summer, Young will also co-headline a July 12 concert at London’s Hyde Park with Bob Dylan, although he recently entered a stand-off with organizers vowing to pull-out if Barclays/Barlaycard remained the sponsor.

Young called the company a “fossil fuel funding entity,” and candidly called the global climate crisis “a massive fuck up.”

The resolution was that Young and Dylan with perform a stand-alone show, removed from the overarching “British Summer Time” concert series. All previously purchased tickets through British Summer Time will still be valid.

Pre-sale for Neil Young’s January 2019 shows is now underway at his Neil Young Archives fan site.

Details for general on sale are not yet available, but they will be available from Ticketmaster.
