After taking a hiatus from touring this year, My Morning Jacket will return to the stage next summer for a few newly announced shows in Colorado and New York, including a two-night run at the famed Red Rocks Amphitheatre.

MMJ will head to Morrison, CO’s Red Rocks on August 2 and 3, then move across the country to Queens, NY’s Forest Hills Stadium on August 10. A pre-sale for tickets and VIP packages begins tomorrow, December 4, at 10am local time with code POOCH. General ticket sales start this Friday, December 7, at 10am local time.

The band also notes that these three shows will be their only outings of 2019. Besides their One Big Holiday destination event in the Dominican Republic this past spring, My Morning Jacket haven’t played together all year, though frontman Jim James has released two solo albums (Uniform DistortionUniform Clarity) and toured this year, while guitarist Carl Broemel offered his own solo release (Wished Out) and tour earlier this year.
