Noah Lehrman has scheduled two New York-based Hannukkah shows, performing at Brooklyn’s Iyyun on Sunday, Dec. 2 and Port Chester’s Garcia’s on Thursday, Dec. 6.

For the Dec. 2 performance Lehrman will take on percussion duties, laying down “rocked-out Jewish dance tunes and klezed-out Dead & rock tunes” with members of Gratefully Yours & Moshiacj Oy!. Additionally, since it is the first night of Hannukah, there will be a Torah reading by R’ Dov Ber Pinson and kosher food and drink available all evening.

Lehrman’s Dec. 6 gig at Garcia’s will feature him on acoustic guitar, playing “contemporary existential Jewish music and creatively topical covers from Leonard Cohen, Phish, the Grateful Dead.” Later, he will return to his drum kit to play with G-Nome as part of their Get Lit: Livetronukkah Tour.
