Anders Osborne has confirmed the lineup for his seventh annual Holiday Spectacular. The two-day celebration will return to New Orleans’ famed Tipitina’s on December 14 and 15. The event’s first night will feature three powerful female voices, Joan Osborne, Theresa Andersson and Gina Forsyth, while the run’s second night will boast special guest Vince Herman, among others.  Two-day packages are available.

Then, on December 16, Osborne will continue to bring some holiday cheer to his fans by participating in the “Won’t Bow Down” event benefiting Send Me A Friend, a national network of “sober friends,” at New Orleans’ Maple Leaf. The evening will also spotlight Big Chief Monk Boudreaux, Big Chief Juan Pardo, Kirk Joseph, Doug Belote and Brad Walker. Osborne himself has gone through recovery and is long sober.

The guitarist will perform next at Boston’s The Wilbur on November 28 as part of Joan Osborne’s DYLANOLOGY tour. Robert Randolph is also part of the outing’s lineup.
