Greensky Bluegrass continued their march down the West Coast on Thursday night, bringing their fall tour to The Warfield in San Francisco and treating fans to a surprise special guest by welcoming out pianist Holly Bowling, who joined the group for the entire second set and encore.

Bowling emerged after setbreak to join Greensky on several of their originals, “Just Listening,” “Windshield,” “Living Over” and “The Four” before the collective segued into a cover of the Grateful Dead’s “Eyes of the World.” Greensky fit Dead covers into their sets frequently, and Bowling is known for her solo piano interpretations of the catalog. Last night, the musicians also ran through “Who is Frederico?,” “I’d Probably Kill You” and “Worried About the Weather” before all returning for an encore cover of Dave Mason’s “Feelin’ Alright.”

See the full setlist below, along with some fan-shot video from the night’s collaboration, via Dylan Bondy on YouTube, and download full audio of the show here. Greensky continue their tour with support from The Lil Smokies tonight in San Diego, CA.
