On Jan. 12, 2019 Willie Nelson will lead an all-star lineup of musicians for “Willie: The Life & Songs of an American Outlaw,” a one-night event in Nashville.
The initial roster of musicians paying tribute to Nelson include Alison Krauss, The Avett Brothers, George Strait, Jack Johnson, John Mellencamp, Kris Kristofferson, Lee Ann Womack, Lyle Lovett, Norah Jones (with The Little Willies), Susan Tedeschi & Derek Trucks, Sheryl Crow and Vince Gill.
“Willie: The Life & Songs of an American Outlaw” will take place at the Bridgeton Arena, and tickets will go on sale Monday, Nov. 12.
“Willie and his songs mean everything to music artists and fans alike. Like Willie, they have inspired us to remain true to ourselves in every possible way. This incredible lineup of artists on this show is a testament to that,” says event organizer/Blackbird Presents CEO Keith Wortman. Additionally, the event will be recorded for a national television debut on the A&E network.
