This January, San Francisco’s legendary Warfield will host “Like A Road Leading Home: Celebrating Jerry Garcia,” a two-night event honoring the late musician with a band featuring members of the Jerry Garcia Band and more, who will reform the “Jerry Garcia Birthday Band” that came together at Colorado’s Red Rocks in 2017 and in Vail, CO, this past summer.
The band will once again feature JGB members Melvin Seals, Jacklyn LaBranch and Gloria Jones, along with Dead & Company bassist Oteil Burbridge, Joe Russo’s Almost Dead guitarist Tom Hamilton and Widespread Panic drummer Duane Trucks.
Like A Road Leading Home will take place at The Warfield Theatre on January 11 and 12. A limited number of pre-sale tickets will go on sale today, November 7, at 10am PST, with general ticket sales beginning 10am PST this Friday, November 9. All ticketing information can be found here.
