Believe it or not, the holidays are right around the corner, and psychedelic instrumentalists Khruangbin are here to rejuvenate your Christmas playlist with their take on “Christmas Time Is Here.”

After releasing their sophomore LP Con Todo El Mundo in January, Khrunagbin have been touring in support of R&B revivalist Leon Bridges. During an off-day their update on Vince Guaraldi’s classic tune emerged.

“Growing up the three of us all had very different Christmases,” bassist Laura Lee said in a press release. “But we recently discovered we all had the exact same favorite Christmas song. When we realized it, we sat down to play it and it came together instantly. In 15 minutes we had this recorded. It was like the best Christmas present ever.”
