Umphrey’s McGee continued their fall tour on Thursday night, performing two sets at Crossroads KC in Kansas City, Missouri.

The band kicked off set one with a “Glory”> “Walletsworth” segment, before diving into “Remind Me” and “Room to Breathe.” A nice old-meets-new jam followed, as UM stitched together live favorite “Mantis” with Similar Skin selection “No Diablo.” The crowd as pleased to hear “Mantis” reappear at the end of the first half.

Set two began with a massive three-part jam, exploring the far reaches of “Conduit”> “Phil’s Farm” and then bleeding into Smashing Pumpkins’ “Cherub Rock.” This marked the first time UM performed the 1993 Siamese Dream cut since April 28, 2016.

The band wrapped up the second half with another jam-heavy segment, sandwiching “Final Word” and “Mullet (Over)” within “Der Bluten Kat.” Umphrey’s McGee closed their second set with “Make It Right.”

They encored with The Police’s “When the World is Running Down, You Make the Best of What’s Still Around.”
