Jack Black and Kyle Gass have shared the first chapter of their new limited webseries Post-Apocalypto.
The cartoon – drawn personally by the Black – finds the duo broke and trying to pay their rent when, suddenly, they are thrust into a nuclear apocalypse. Thankfully, as the title of episode one suggests, they are still able to find “Hope.”
New episodes of Post-Apocalypto will be shared on the Tenacious D YouTube every Friday for the next five weeks. A press release teases all of the adventures Tenacious D will encounter, including “an insane visit to the White House, a time machine, a space adventure, and the help of some tried and true daddy issues.”
