Widespread Panic continue their series of archival Porch Songs releases with the 38th installment, drawing from the band’s 1996 performance at Bayfest in Mobile, AL, on October 5.

As the band’s description of the release notes, this particular show was the second of the 1996 fall tour and the first Bayfest for Panic. The show, which features late guitarist Michael Houser, was originally recorded by Danny Friedman.

See the 10/5/96 setlist below, and listen to a preview of the new Porch Songs with first-set song “She Caught the Katy.” The full show is available here.
