On October 30, Beastie Boys founders Adam “Adrock” Horovitz and Michael “Mike D” Diamond will release Beastie Boys Book, a retrospective written by the two musicians about the rise of their iconic rap group with the late Adam “MCA” Yauch, and Horovitz and Diamond have plotted a six-date book tour in support of the release.

Starting October 29, the duo will host events in New York, Brooklyn, Los Angeles, San Francisco and London, featuring readings from the new book, conversations with a guest moderator, Q&A sessions, a Beastie Boys exhibit, music from Mix Master Mike and more. Tickets for the tour dates go on sale this Friday, September 28, at 10am local time (NYC Town Hall tickets on sale at noon ET).

Beastie Boys Book also features contributions from comedian Amy Poehler, directors Spike Jonze and Wes Anderson, and more. The book tells the Beastie Boys story through the words of Adrock and Mike D and also includes rare photos, illustrations, a cookbook, a graphic novel and more. Pre-order the book here.
