As previously reported, Oteil Burbridge is prepping a multi-night New Year’s Eve run in the Northeast this winter, where the Dead & Company bassist will be joined by a group of Friends at multiple venues around Philadelphia and NYC, and now the run has been stretched to five shows from December 27 through 31.

Due to popular demand, Burbridge has added a second show at The Capitol Theatre on December 27 to pair with his show at the venue on December 29. The bassist and his band will also provide support for Gov’t Mule at The Tower Theatre in Upper Darby, PA, on December 28. For his two-night New Year’s Eve run at Brooklyn Bowl on December 30 and 31, Burbridge has added special guest Natalie Cressman.

For the full five-night run, Burbridge will be joined by a band of Friends consisting of Melvin Seals, Eric Krasno, John Kadlecik, Jay Lane, Jennifer Hartswick and Weedie Braimah. For all the New York shows, visuals will be provided by artist Johnathan Singer.

Tickets to the December 27 Capitol Theatre show go on sale this Friday, September 21, at noon ET, with a pre-sale beginning September 20 at 10am ET with password OBNY. Tickets to the Tower Theatre show go on sale September 28. See Burbridge’s full tour schedule and ticketing information here.
