On Sept. 12, Twiddle’s in-house nonprofit – dubbed the White Light Foundation – donated $10,000 to the University of Vermont’s Children’s Hospital in the name of “spreading love, healing and kindness.”
The funds were raised this past July at Twiddle’s annual Tumble Down festival, where “White Light Foundation partnered with Martin Guitars and Twiddle community artists on raffles to raise money.” Additionally, a Charity Disc Golf Event and a generous $2,500 donation by Fiddlehead Brewing Company helped reach the final sum of $10,000.
“It was an incredible privilege to represent Twiddle fans and our partners today in making this donation to the UVM Children’s Hospital,” frontman Mihali Savoulidis said after presenting the $10,000 check to UVM’s Chief of Pediatrics Dr. Lewis First.
Later, Savoulidis and White Light CEO Steve Perlah read stories and performed a few songs for the hospital patients and staff.
