Virginia’s LOCKN’ Festival, which will return to Arrington later this month, has expanded this year’s lineup with newly added collaborations including Margo Price joining Widespread Panic’s Friday set, guitarist Eric Krasno sitting in with his former outfit Lettuce during their late-night celebration of Jerry Garcia Band on Saturday, and Toots & The Maytals adding Taj Mahal to their Friday performance.

The news was first reported today via Garden & Gun, who also posted a conversation between Price and Widespread Panic frontman John Bell about their respective musical careers and more.

The three new collaborations join a lineup that already features Umphrey’s McGee welcoming drummer Jason Bonham for a Led Zeppelin-themed set, saxophonist Branford Marsalis joining Dead & Company for their festival-closing set on Sunday and a Foundation of Funk celebration of 50 years of New Orleans legends The Meters featuring original band members George Porter Jr. and Zigaboo Modeliste plus early collaborator and vocalist Cyril Neville and Dumpstaphunk’s Ivan Neville, Ian Neville and Tony Hall.

LOCKN’ 2018 will also include music from Tedeschi Trucks Band, Joe Russo’s Almost Dead, George Clinton & Parliament Funkadelic, Sheryl Crow, Turkuaz, Keller Williams, Blues Traveler, Spafford, Pigeons Playing Ping Pong, The Suffers, Ghost Light, Southern Avenue and more. The festival is set for August 23–26 at Infinity Downs and Oak Ridge Farm in Arrington, VA. All information can be found here.
