Particle will spend this fall on the road in support of their first new album in 14 years, Accelerator. The album, which will be released in September, features nine new original tracks and marks the group’s first studio effort since their 2004 debut, Launchpad.

Particle has only toured sporadically in recent years while founding member Steve Molitz worked with Phil Lesh
& Friends, Robby Krieger, Eric Burdon, Rich Robinson and Playing For Change, among others. Molitz has also been busy in as the lead composer for a number of video games, including NBA Playgrounds 1 & 2, Shaq Fu: A Legend Reborn, Barack Fu: The Adventures of Dirty Barr, The Secret Life of Pets: Unleashed, Spintires: MudRunner and the upcoming adaptation of the Paramount Pictures film, World War Z. Current Particle members Kito Bovenschulte, Michael Daum and Clay Parnell contributed to nearly all of the above soundtracks as well.

Particle’s fall tour will kicks off October 5 in Massachusetts and come to a close in their current hometown of New York on October 27.
