Blues Traveler frontman John Popper will hit the road solo this fall for a number of acoustic dates.

The singer and harmonicist extraordinaire will hit eight cities over two weeks, making stops in Chicago, Memphis, New York City and more.

These shows will come after an eventful summer for Blues Traveler proper. In addition to announcing a new studio album – Hurry Up & Hang Around out Oct. 12 – the band will close their nationwide tour at the Lockn’ festival on Aug. 26.
