As his main band continues to take a break from the road this year, My Morning Jacket frontman Jim James has announced a batch of solo acoustic tour dates for this November.

Billed as a “career-spanning” tour, these dates will see James offer stripped-down versions of songs from throughout his time with MMJ and his solo work, including songs from his upcoming album Uniform Distortion, set for release next week on June 29.

The tour will kick off in Los Angeles on November 2 and will also make stops in Denver, Chicago, New York, Boston, Washington, DC, Atlanta, Nashville and more before closing out with a hometown show for James in Louisville, KY. The singer-songwriter will be joined by longtime touring drummer David Givan for the dates, which will also feature support from Hurray For the Riff Raff’s Alynda Segarra. See the newly added dates below.

“I am looking forward to exploring all sorts of songs stripped down as they first occurred in their natural habitat—just voice and guitar,” James says in a release. “Although I have played many shows by myself, this will be my first tour of this style and I am excited to see everyone out on the open road.”

Tickets for the shows go on sale this Friday, June 22, with one dollar from each sale going toward MMJ’s The Waterfall Project. More tour information can be found here.
