In an expansive set led by David Nelson a fleet of all-star musicians (Melvin Seals, Steve Kimock, Jay Lane, Robin Sylvester, Dan “Lebo” Lebowitz, DJ Logic, Jason Crosby, Dave Ellis, Sunshine Becker and Jeff Pehrson) took the stage at Mill Valley, Calif.‘s Sweetwater Music Hall Wednesday night to celebrate the fifth anniversary of Music Heals International.

The biggest surprise of the evening came with the unannounced appearance of Bob Weir, who sat-in for “Friend Of The Devil,” a cover of “Willie and the Hand Jive” and the Dead’s own “Ripple.”

There was then a mini Ratdog reunion where Lane, Sylvester, Kimock, Ellis and Matt Kelly joined Weir for “Corrina” (to add some extra flare DJ Logic sat in as well).

The “Corrina” was followed by “Juke,” “Little Red Rooster,” “Standing On The Moon,” “China Cat Sunflower,” and a final romp on “I Know You Rider.”
