On Friday May 4, Twiddle performed their first headlining gig at Red Rocks, and the show was star-studded affair, featuring appearances by Phil Lesh and Midnight North/Terrapin Family Band guitarist Grahame Lesh as well as Todd Stoops of RAQ.

After Twiddle opened the show with an “Enter”> “Orlando” jam, Todd Stoops jumped onstage to add some keys to the Somewhere On The Mountain track “Apples.”

During the second half, Phil and Grahame Lesh joined the band for an extended version of “Shakedown Street” containing a version Twiddle’s original “White Light.”

Considering that two Lesh men were already in the area for their own Red Rocks show – scheduled for Saturday May 5 – the sit in offered fans of both Twiddle and The Dead an avenue for a new musical experience.

Finally, Twiddle closed out their first Red Rocks show by welcoming opener Stick Figure to the stage for a two-song encore of Bob Marley’s “Jamming” and The Beatles’ “With A Little Help From My Friends.”
