The 31st Annual Tibet House US Benefit Concert will take place at New York’s famed Carnegie Hall next weekend, and the event will feature newly added artist Patti Smith.

The iconic artist, who has been a mainstay at these Tibet House events, joins a lineup that already includes composer and returning artistic director Phillip Glass, Carly Simon, Blood Orange, St. Paul and The Broken Bones, Rhiannon Giddens, Angel Olsen, The Magnetic Fields’ Stephin Merritt, Resistance Revival Chorus, Tibetan folk singer Techung and Los Vega. The honorary chairpersons for the event will be Maggie Gyllenhaal, Peter Sarsgaard, Uma Thurman and Arden Wohl.
