After announcing his slot at London’s British Summer Time Festival, which will be dubbed his “farewell performance,” Paul Simon has now detailed the full dates of his final outing, “Homeward Bound—The Farewell Tour.”

The dates open up May 16 in Vancouver, BC, and will see the legendary singer-songwriter visit venues in Seattle, Los Angeles, Las Vegas, Denver, Texas, Chicago, Detroit, Toronto, Boston, Philadelphia and more before closing out the North American leg in Nashville on June 20 and heading to Europe in late June and July. Simon’s final date, as previously announced, will be at London’s BST Festival on July 15 with special guests James Taylor and Bonnie Raitt. Both guests will also join Simon in Dublin, Ireland, on July 13. See the full dates below.

“I’ve often wondered what it would feel like to reach the point where I’d consider bringing my performing career to a natural end. Now I know: it feels a little unsettling, a touch exhilarating and something of a relief,” Simon says of the farewell tour. “I love making music, my voice is still strong, and my band is a tight, extraordinary group of gifted musicians. I think about music constantly. I am very grateful for a fulfilling career and, of course, most of all to the audiences who heard something in my music that touched their hearts.”

Tickets for the Homeward Bound tour go on sale February 9 at 10am in North America and the UK and February 8 at 9am for other European dates. More information can be found at Simon’s website.
