Wilco frontman Jeff Tweedy will head out on a solo tour while his main band is on their current hiatus, kicking off the dates on April 5 in Royal Oak, MI.

The tour will then head to Canada for seven shows, including stops in Ottawa and Montreal, before moving back to the US for shows in Vermont, New Jersey, North and South Carolina and Chicago, where Tweedy will play two shows at The Vic Theatre for the Annual Benefit for Education. Tweedy will also play a short European run in early September.

Tickets for the tour go on sale this Friday, February 9, with a pre-sale starting February 7. More information can be found here.
