On September 24 and 25, indie-rock darlings The National will return to The Greek Theatre to make up for the two shows they had to postpone in mid-October due to declining air quality.

“The Greek is one of our favorite venues in the world and it was heartbreaking to have to postpone the shows in October due to the wildfires in Northern California,” the band said in a statement. “To all of you who had tickets to the original shows, thank you for your patience and we can’t wait to return to the Greek to play for you.”

According to the band, their first performance on 9/24 will not be a matinee as originally planned, but kids under 10 will be granted free admission. All tickets for the October shows will be valid for these upcoming dates.
