To celebrate Gregg Allman’s 70th birthday, Rounder Records released another new video from his final, Grammy-nominated album Southern Blood, released shortly after his death.

The new video for “Song for Adam” arrives today, directed by Erica Alexandria Silverman, starring Zach Chance, Yates Robertson, Zoe Graham and Johnny McPhail.

The song was written by and features background vocals by Jackson Browne, a longtime friend of Allman’s. As the story goes, Allman vowed to finish the song after becoming overwhelmed due to the fact that the lyrics reminded him of his brother Duane. Allman passed before he was able to finish the song and producer Don Was opted to put the song on the album unfinished.
