Seun Kuti, youngest son on Afrobeat pioneer Fela Kuti, will release his fourth album with Egypt 80, Black Times, on March 2 via UK’s Strut Records, and the new record features input from guest artists like Carlos Santana and Robert Glasper.

“Black Times is a true reflection of my political and social beliefs,” says Kuti, who inherited the Egypt 80 orchestra from his father two decades ago. “It is an album for anybody who believes in change and understands the duty we have to rise up and come together. The elites always try to divide the working class and the poor people of the world. The same oppression felt by workers in Flint, Michigan is felt by workers in Lagos and Johannesburg.”

Kuti has shared the first single and title track from the album, “Black Times,” which features Santana on guitar. Listen in the video below.
