Eric Clapton will play a massive show at London’s Hyde Park on July 8 as a part of the British Summer Time series. For the gig, the not-yet-retired Clapton will bring along Santana, Steve Winwood and Gary Clark Jr., all frequent collaborators over the years.

Retirement rumors surfaced once again when Clapton was forced to postpone his shows at The Forum earlier this year due to severe bronchitis. Those shows followed a run at Madison Square Garden that were largely rumored to be his farewell.

Clapton has played a number of shows this year including The Garden and The Forum but has not performed since the September 18 finale in Los Angeles.
