Dead & Company brought their fall tour to Detroit last night for a show at Little Caesars Arena that featured their usual offering of Grateful Dead favorites and covers, plus a new addition to their repertoire.

The first set kicked off with the always spirited “Dancin in the Street” and continued with staples “Jack Straw” and “Brown Eyed Women.” After a run of “Ramble on Rose,” the band debuted yet another Grateful Dead tune, “Deep Elem Blues,” a blues standard that the Dead made their own throughout their career. The first set was then closed out with “Beat it on Down the Line,” which the group debuted at their tour opener in New York earlier this month, and “Sugaree.”

Set two kept the favorites coming with tunes like “New Speedway Boogie,” “Dark Star,” “Scarlet Begonias,” “Fire on the Mountain,” a “Drums/Space” section and a pair of covers in Bob Dylan’s “A Hard Rain’s A-Gonna Fall” and Buddy Holly’s “Not Fade Away” before the band rounded out the night with an encore of “Casey Jones.”

See the full setlist below as it appears in our Box Scores section, along with some videos from the night. Next up for Dead & Company is a show tonight at Nationwide Arena in Columbus, OH.
