Spafford closed out a run in Colorado this weekend, and the band marked their Friday night show at the Aggie Theater in Fort Collins with a special guest appearance from Greensky Bluegrass guitarist and vocalist Dave Bruzza.

As JamBase reports, Bruzza came out for RHCP’s “Soul to Squeeze,” helping the Spafford deliver a bluegrass-infused version of the tune. Watch a video of the collaboration above.

Last night, the band wrapped up their run in the state with a three-set affair at Globe Hall in Denver, playing an all-acoustic first set, which featured a couple debut originals and a guest spot from the group’s old friend Don Cheek. The show continued with a second-set jam in which the band’s poster artist Jon Rose and touring crew took to the stage first and were replaced on-by-one by the band members without a break in the music. The night later ended with an encore performance of J.J. Cale’s “After Midnight.”

See the full setlists below. Next up for Spafford is a stop at the Crocodile Cafe in Seattle on November 14.
