moe. bassist Rob Derhak has completed his chemotherapy and radiation treatment to deal with his oropharyngeal cancer, which was revealed this summer and led to the band’s current hiatus.

In a picture posted to their social media accounts (see above), Derhak is shown ringing the treatment center’s “good luck” bell and holding up a certificate that says he completed treatment yesterday.

On Facebook, the band wrote yesterday, “Rob finished chemo and radiation today! Words can’t describe how amazed and overjoyed we are with the amount of love you have all sent our way. Keep Rob in your thoughts through the coming weeks while we wait on the prognosis.” On Twitter, they added “#fuckcancer.”
