The String Cheese Incident headlined the Oregon Eclipse Festival without their guitarist Bill Nershi, who was forced to miss the show due to illness. The band decided to play one man short and instead relied on the material that mostly featured the other members of the group.

Kyle Hollingsworth led the band on a number of tunes throughout the night including the opening “Close Your Eyes” as well as “Way That It Goes” and later on “Let’s Go Outside.” In the first set, the band mixed in a crowd participation for Nershi as they encouraged a “group hoot” for their ill bandmate before closing the first set with John Coltrane’s “Impressions” and Led Zeppelin’s “Kashmir.”

The second set was highlighted by a guest appearance from Emancipator’s Ilya Goldberg, who added violin to “Bumpin’ Reel” out of the opening “Just One Story.” The Keith Moseley-led “Sirens” followed as well as a cover of Bob Marley’s “Kinky Reggae” before departing after the end of “Just One Story.”
