Umphrey’s McGee will cap their return to Chicago by also returning to Wrigley Field to sing the National Anthem on July 21 before the hometown Cubs take on their rival the St. Louis Cardinals. Later that night, the band will headline Huntington Bank Pavilion with Pigeons Playing Ping Pong.

In related National Anthem news, Hot Buttered Rum will also perform at AT&T Park in San Francisco before the Giants take on the Cleveland Indians (who coincidentally lost to the Cubs in the World Series) on July 19.

Both bands have previously performed at the respective ballparks before and Umphrey’s McGee guitarist Brendan Bayliss has also thrown out the first pitch at Wrigley Field.
