Galactic drummer Stanton Moore will release a new tribute to the late Allen Toussant dubbed With You in Mind: The Songs of Allen Toussaint on July 21.

Joining him on the record will be New Orleans luminaries like Cyril Neville, Maceo Parker, Trombone Shorty, Wendell Pierce and many more as they pay tribute to the legendary musician who passed away in November of 2015.

The record comes in lieu of a potential forthcoming Stanton Moore Trio album, the sessions of which coincided with Toussaint’s passing. Instead, Moore decided to record a tribute album featuring some of his famed compositions.
