Yesterday marked the 40th anniversary of the Grateful Dead’s legendary performance at Cornell University’s Barton Hall on May 8, 1977, and Dead drummer Mickey Hart shared a comprehensive collection of archival photos and links on his website to celebrate the occasion.

The page features links to interviews, premieres of recordings from the recently released Get Shown the Light archival release of the show and more, plus photos of the original concert art and poster, the original paper ad for the show, ticket stubs, iconic taper Betty Cantor Jackson (whose recording of 5/8/77 was released in the new box set), a handwritten setlist with notes from late Dead archivist Dick Latvala and more. The most recent bit seems to be the official letter from Ithaca, NY’s Tomkins County Legislature proclaiming May 8 as Grateful Dead Day.
