Umphrey’s McGee and Joshua Redman once again collaborated in Rochester as their run together continued with guitarist Jake Cinninger still sidelined with the flu.

Redman emerged for the final three songs of the first set, which was peppered with mostly newer tunes like “Domino Theory,” “Loose Ends” and the renamed “Yoga Pants.” Redman added sax to “The Linear” and the older “Example 1” before the anthemic closing of “Make it Right,” which rose to popularity via the Raw Stewage quarter at UMBowl.

Redman remained out on stage for most of the second set, aiding the group on “Triple Wide” and another Raw Stewage favorite, “Upward” which led into just the fourth “1000 Places to See Before You Die” ever and first since 2016’s UMBowl.

Umphrey’s once again enlisted Redman for “Similar Skin” and the Marley cover “Lively Up Yourself” before departing for good, leaving the band to dip into some rarely played tunes like “Robot World” and “Front Porch” which included the first “Muff II: The Revenge” since December 30, 2013, marking a span of 311 shows.

Here’s a look at the setlist:
