The National have announced a special appearance, as the band will participate in a Get Out the Vote event for the Hillary Clinton campaign in Cincinnati, OH, on November 2, less than a week before Election Day.

As per a post on the band’s Facebook page, “The event will be part of Hillary for America’s ‘Love Trumps Hate’ concert series to get out the vote in the final weeks before Election Day on November 8. We will urge Ohioans to support Clinton and her vision of an America that is stronger together by voting early or on Election Day.” More information on the event will be announced soon.

The National also campaigned in 2008 and 2012 for the initial and re-election efforts of President Obama, playing multiple shows and rallies and selling merchandise to raise money for the candidate.
