_Stuart Levine_

Bob Weir’s tour continued with the second of two shows at Brooklyn’s Kings Theatre. Weir, along with his Campfire tour bandmates, welcomed a pair of special guests once again as Leslie Mendelson joined in for “Jack Straw” late in the set as well as the encore that included “Blue Bayou” and an “I Know You Rider” finale.

In addition, Weir welcomed out Sam Cohen, founding member of Yellowbirds. Cohen joined Mendelson and the band for the “I Know You Rider” show closer, marking yet another collaboration with Weir. Cohen has previously played with Weir at TRI Studios and also appeared during his Blue Mountain sessions along with a host of other musicians.

Weir will celebrate his birthday tonight with a show at the Capitol Theatre.
