The String Cheese Incident kicked off their three-night run at Red Rocks Amphitheatre in their home state of Colorado yesterday with a performance that featured a debut cover from the band.
In the middle of the second set, SCI played Tear for Fears’ “Everybody Wants to Rule the World” for the first time, bookending it with “Way Back Home” and stretching the mid-80s hit into an extended jam. See a video of that performance above.
String Cheese will return to the Red Rocks stage tonight and tomorrow.
