Anders Osborne continued his tour at Higher Ground in Burlington, VT, earlier this week, playing some new and old songs, along with a couple of Grateful Dead tunes with help from guitarist Tom Hamilton.
Osborne’s set included tracks from his upcoming Louisiana-influenced album, Spacedust & Ocean Views, including “Lafayette,” “Pontchartrain,” “Move Back to Mississippi” and “Wind.” Near the middle of the performance, Osborne welcomed out Hamilton, who had opened up the show with his American Babies. Hamilton, who is well-versed in the music of the Dead, also playing in Joe Russo’s Almost Dead, joined Osborne for “Black Muddy River” and later returned for “Going Down the Road Feeling Bad.”
View the full setlist from the night below. Osborne will continue his tour tonight at Boston’s Paradise Rock Club and tomorrow at The Capitol Theatre in Port Chester, NY.
