Last night in Runaway Bay, Jamaica, Gov’t Mule finished up their Island Exodus event with more guests and runs of both Rolling Stones and Neil Young songs over a two-set performance.

Mule got things started with an opening set that featured saxophonist Ron Holloway joining in for “Pass The Peas” before the band kicked off a three-song Rolling Stones run. First, Jackie Greene and Machan Taylor came out for “Can’t You Hear Me Knocking,” then Holloway returned to join the collective for the set-ending run of “Slave” into “Bitch.”

Set two kicked off with a run of Neil Young tunes, with Greene coming back for “Tonight’s The Night” and Machan joining in for “Cinnamon Girl.” Holloway returned to the stage for a “Fallen Down” that led into a jam on the Grateful Dead’s “The Other One.” Rocky Lindsley once again joined the band for the set-closing run of “Feel Like Breaking Up Somebody’s Home” into “Rebel Soulshine,” a mashup of Bob Marley’s “Rebel Music” and “Soulshine.”

The encore featured “Game Face,” which teased David Bowie’s “Fame” for the second time in the performance, followed by “Time to Confess,” which also featured a “Rebel Music” tease to close out the destination event.
